Tourism in the National Park "Danube Wetlands"

Around the National Park "Donau-Auen" (Danube Wetlands) the initiative AULAND has developed into a model combination of agriculture, tourism and the catering industry. The destination Donau NÖ Tourismus GmbH has meanwhile incorporated the tourism in the wetlands into the existing Lower Austrian regional office Donau NÖ Auland-Carnuntum. Auland-Carnuntum is the name of the region in the surroundings of the National Park Danube Wetlands; tours in the wetlands offer opportunities to enjoy cultural highlights, fascinating pieces of nature, excellent wines, and typical regional cuisine.
Together with organisers of cultural events, tourist associations and selected innkeepers and hotels the Auland partners Marchfelder Schlösser (Marchfeld castles), Archäologischer Park Carnuntum, National Park Danube Wetlands, and tourism region March-Donauland offer programmes for one or several days in the National Park region.
